City of Dreams

On the distant horizon 
appears, like a misty dream,
the town with its turrets,
shrouded in purple steam.

A gentle breeze ripples 
the turquoise waterway,
with mounful strokes
my heart pounds everyday.

Neon pink, the sun rises 
from the earth once more,
and shows me that spot
where I lost my love before.
